Media Training
On-Camera Coaching
Brand Strategy

Through Alison Deyette Media, I provide media training, on-camera coaching, keynote and presentation preparation, interview guidance, talent development, and brand strategy consulting. I work with a diverse clientele that includes CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, doctors, athletes, musicians, actors, creators, and experts preparing for television appearances, video series, interviews, podcasts, and speaking engagements. I meet with clients one-on-one in person and remotely, and I also lead workshops and group sessions for companies, teams, and organizations. Every training is tailored to the client, the moment, and the specific opportunity they are preparing for.

Media Trainer Approach

My approach is direct, strategic, and grounded in real-world media experience. I help clients communicate with clarity, confidence, and ease whether they are on stage, in the boardroom, on the field, or facing the media. Together, we identify strengths, blind spots, and the message that matters most so communication feels authentic, useful, and memorable. Storytelling sits at the center of the work. Additionally, I advise clients on image and overall presentation.

Honesty — Being open, grounded, and clear in communication.

Comfort — Helping clients feel at ease enough to think clearly and speak naturally.

Confidence — Building a strong sense of self-assurance.

Clarity —Making sure the message is easy to understand, remember, and repeat.

Outside of media training, I bring more than twenty years of on-camera and digital media experience, including hosting and producing national television shows and award-winning digital series. I have worked as an on-camera expert for outlets including The Kelly Clarkson Show, EXTRA, The View, Today, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, Dr. Phil, and for 17 years on KTLA, the top-rated morning news program in Los Angeles.

I’ve also continued to deepen my work through executive education at The Wharton School, earning certifications in Mastering Executive Influence: Neuroscience-Driven Leadership Strategies, Understanding the Brain: Using Neuroscience to Deliver Better Results, and Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development. That work strengthens how I help clients communicate with authority, manage nerves under pressure, and lead with greater clarity and influence.

I have worked regularly with a long list of brands as a spokesperson and brand strategist, helping develop editorial content, scripts, and messaging for television, web series, and publications. Those brands include Amazon, JCPenney, The Home Depot, Playtex, American Express, Hotels.com, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Michaels, Kraft, Nintendo, Kohl’s, Garnier, and Mattress Firm. Plus, I’ve made regular appearances on QVC and HSN for the last 13 years.

I’ve hosted speaking engagements and panel discussions with companies including HBO/Max, Nestlé, Pepsi, Bear Stearns, and AXA Financial in front of audiences as large as 7,000. I’ve personally given talks, moderated panels, and spoken to rooms large and small, which shapes how I coach clients for both intimate settings and major stages.

Before my on-camera career, I worked as a print journalist and magazine director. I currently contribute to national print and online publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, New York, The Strategist, InStyle, O, The Oprah Magazine, People, Real Simple, USA Today, and The Cut. I’ve also interviewed close to 500 celebrities, from Ryan Gosling and Jessica Chastain to Salma Hayek and Steve Carell.

I’ve guided singer-songwriters and emerging musical talent, helping several clients strengthen their storytelling, interviews, and on-camera presence as they secured opportunities on shows including The Voice and America’s Got Talent.

I am also a Legacy Society and Advisory Council member of Step Up, a mentorship nonprofit that helps girls and those who identify with girlhood define their goals and build the path to reach them.
